Anthony Ratcliffe - Limited Edition Print of Manchester 1992

Framed print, number 1 of 30.
Dimensions 125cm x 85cm. 

Due to the dimensions and weight, the print must be collected from Manchester City or Stockport by arrangement.

Believed to have been created for the Manchester Commonwealth Games.

About the Artist:
Anthony Ratcliffe is a now a full time printmaker after a career lecturing at Manchester School of Art. He has prints in many public and private collections including The British Council, the Parliamentary Art Collection, Manchester Airport PLC, Manchester Royal Infirmary and MMU Special Collections.

Anthony has always based his work around an exploration of British landscape. His images are developed from sketchbook drawings made on site and enriched by further research into historical records of topographical and archaeological features found in the remoter areas of upland and coastline. Anthony’s artistic interpretation of landscape has always been enhanced by years of involvement with climbing and fell running and he lives and works from a studio overlooking the Dark Peak National Park.

All items are “as is.” British Council Benevolent Fund has attempted to describe all offered items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance, or condition of the items. No statement made in this website by us or made orally elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.

3. The auction item value, if listed is only an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. The amount you pay above this fair market value estimate is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify amount of deduction.

4. Payment for items purchased must be made in full upon completion of the auction through this website using the methods of payment supported, If you are unable to pay for your Winning Bid, then you will forfeit your Bid and the next highest bidder will be offered the prize.

5. Following payment, you will be provided by email details on how to collect or obtain your prize credential or products.

6. British Council Benevolent Fund reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.
